2008 Recognized Shows
We have quite a few recognized shows this year. As usual, there is the Chinook
Hunter/Jumper/Dressage Series hosted by Cottonwood Farms. In addition, the Spokane
group has expressed interest in adding some shows to the Chinook schedule. Cottonwood
Farms Sport Horses will be hosting a few open (flat) shows and maybe even a clinic
or three. The Harder Memorial will be recognized. The Open Breed Night Show
and Halter Happenings have not yet asked for CEA recognition, but we hope they'll
join us again this year. Hermiston Halter Horse and Umatilla Sage Riders are
both thinking of adding a few shows. Richland Rider's Club has three shows scheduled
with CEA approval in addition to OctoberFest. And, the Fort Dalles Riders Club
has expressed interest in hosting some CEA approved shows. The 2008 show year
is shaping up to be a great one!
For navigation, use the Recognized Shows Navigation Bar above. The series' have
been given their own sections. All other individual recognized shows are under
the Other Shows link. As more shows are recognized, this navigation bar may grow.

The July 19 Open Show at Cottonwood Farms has been
rescheduled for May 17th. Schedules and entry forms have been
posted for the Chinook H/J/D Series of shows as well as 4 open shows. Online
Registration is open for all of them.
We are still waiting to hear from other show hosts to see if they are
going to request CEA recognition. If you want a show to be recognized, please
express your desires to the management of those shows. Without telling them that
you want the shows to be recognized, they may not see a need to request CEA recognition.
