2008 Chinook Series
 Dates, Format and Location

bulletPre-registration is encouraged and available online through the registration link to the left. If you have not already done so, you will be required to obtain a user name and password (free) and log-in to use the online registration system.
bulletEntry forms can also be downloaded then E-Mailed, or printed and mailed via US Mail (see link to "Printable Forms").
bulletSponsorship forms are available for download as well (see link in "Printable Forms").
bulletThe cut-off time for pre-registration is at 5:00pm of Friday before the shows (except Dressage).  Post entry fees will apply to all entries received after that time, including changes made at the gate.
bulletNo Dressage Entries will be accepted after midnight of the posted entry deadline unless we have available ride times left to fill.  We will not extend the day to accommodate late entries.
bulletIf you pre-register online or by E-Mail, you may pay when you pick up your number packet the day of the show.  You will be required to sign a release at that time.
bulletEntries mailed via US Mail are expected to have a check, made payable to the host, included with the entry form.  A fee of $25.00 will be charged for all checks returned for any reason.

Here is the general routine where 2 arenas are used. 
Check individual shows for differences.

 
All Sport Horse In-Hand classes to start at 8:00am in Arena #2 (on Saturday)
warm-up rounds from 7:00am to 7:45am.
 
For 2-day Shows, all Hunter/Jumper classes to start at 9:00am in Arena #1
(Normally, Hunters on Saturday and Jumpers on Sunday)
Hunter warm-up rounds from 7:00am to 8:45am on Saturday only
and again briefly during lunch on Saturday if time permits after watering the arena.
Sorry, no warm-up rounds for Jumpers on Sunday.

For 1-day Shows, all Hunter/Jumper classes to start at 8:00am in Arena #1
Hunter/Jumper warm-up rounds from 7:00am-7:45am.
Sorry, no warm-up rounds during lunch.
 
All Dressage classes to start at 8:00am in Arena #2 (on Sunday)
Sorry, no warm-up rounds for Dressage in the main arena. Separate warm-up areas are provided.
 
We will be VERY strict about closing warm-up rounds as posted above so that we can start the shows on time.  Numbers of riders in arena at one time are limited.
Please plan ahead and get your warm-up rounds in early. 
We don't like to have to turn people away, but we will do it if necessary.

2008 News

CEA Points through 05/17/2008 have been posted.  I am still working on the web results of these shows.

We are still waiting to hear from other show hosts to see if they are going to request CEA recognition.  If you want a show to be recognized, please express your desires to the management of those shows.  Without telling them that you want the shows to be recognized, they may not see a need to request CEA recognition.
