The Chinook Hunter/Jumper/Dressage Series (CHJDS) is an annual series of open entry hunter/jumper/dressage shows recognized by the CEA.  These shows are all open to the public.  Members of the CEA who compete in this show series can earn points toward the year-end awards offered by the CEA.  Each equine/rider pair, both public and CEA members, can also attempt to get qualified for the CEA Championship Show through this series of shows.  These are all 2-day shows consisting of Hunter classes ranging in height from Trot-A-Pole through 3'9", Jumper classes ranging in height from 2' 3" to 3' 9", Dressage classes from Introductory through First Level and, of course, the Sport Horse In-Hand classes.  Each Hunter Division consists of 2 classes over fences and 1 class under saddle.  Again, all shows are open to the public.  Please see the individual show class lists for specifics.  For your convenience, you may use the CEA Online Event Registration system for these shows.  You do NOT need to be a member of the CEA to use our Online Registration, but you will need to create a free login account to use the system, if you have not already done so.  The event registration link is to the left.

2008 News

The July 19 Open Show at Cottonwood Farms has been rescheduled for May 17th.

Schedules and entry forms have been posted for the Chinook H/J/D Series of shows as well as 4 open shows.  Online Registration is open for all of them.

We are still waiting to hear from other show hosts to see if they are going to request CEA recognition.  If you want a show to be recognized, please express your desires to the management of those shows.  Without telling them that you want the shows to be recognized, they may not see a need to request CEA recognition.
