2010 CEA Championship Show

Throughout the 2010 show year (October 2009 through September 2010), equine/rider pairs will become eligible to enter the championship classes at the Championship Show by placing 1st through 6th in any qualifying class of the same name/skill level/height as the championship class they wished to enter, in at least two (2) separate CEA recognized shows held throughout the show year.  If an equine/rider pair has not qualified for the championship classes before the cutoff date, they will not be eligible to enter the championship classes themselves at the Championship Show.  However, they can still participate in the rest of the show which will be a qualifier for the 2011 show year and championships.

You do not need to be a member of the CEA to qualify for the championship classes at the Championship Show. We invite everyone to participate in this exciting event, even if you do not qualify for the championship classes themselves.

The 2010 Hunter/Jumper and Dressage Championship Shows will be held at Cottonwood Farms Sport Horses in Boardman, Oregon.  The 2010 Championship Shows will consist of the following schedule:

  • Hunters (open entry and championship classes) - TBA

  • Jumpers (open entry and championship classes) - TBA

  • Dressage (open entry and championship classes) - TBA

  • Open (flat) (open entry and championship classes) - This may be cancelled if we don't find more hosts to provide qualifying shows.

The cutoff date for qualifications for all championship classes at the above shows will be September 19, 2010..  After that date, if you have not qualified, you may only participate in the open entry classes at these shows.
